Resident Satisfaction Increases in 2008

Each September, Mountain Community Homes residents are encouraged to participate in a survey. The survey consists of resident feedback on a variety of topics including maintenance, amenities and services provided, home conditions and overall satisfaction with their living experience with Mountain Community Homes. The results from the 2008 survey reveal an average 1.7% increase in resident satisfaction across the board.

“Our goal is to provide the Soldiers and Families living with Mountain Community Homes the best experience possible. The survey results indicate we are on the right path, however, there is always more room for improvement. The resident responses are truly appreciated and help us determine where to focus our efforts,” said Joseph McLaughlin, Project Director.

Since it’s 2005 inception, Mountain Community Homes proudly announces:  rsc and child in garden

  • A 28.7% increase in overall satisfaction
  • A 23.9% increase in property satisfaction
  • A 33.1% service satisfaction

With a 31.2% return rate, areas receiving the highest praise include:

  • The ease of contacting Mountain Community Homes staff
  • The courtesy, quality and professionalism of staff including maintenance, Welcome Home Center and Community Management
  • Location of communities
  • Trash and recycling services provided
  • Resident events and programs

Areas which improved the most since the 2007 survey are categorized under Responsiveness & Follow Through and Relationships. This indicates residents are comfortable with the management and appreciate the Mountain Community Homes staff’s willingness to assist them when needed.

Resident comments and suggestions of areas to improve are heard. Action plans to address these concerns are developed. For example, Overflow Parking is in high demand throughout all communities. This year, Mountain Community Homes is paving additional spaces for resident and guest parking. Improving the curb appeal and landscaping provided is also a goal for Mountain Community Homes. In collaboration with Brickman Group, plans are in place to enhance the exterior look of homes.

The annual survey is conducted by a third-party company to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information gathered and compiled.
